How many of you have tried a contoured gun belt.Seems it would be more comfortable particularly so when the belt has a reinforcement liner.Heavy stiff belts i have tried cut into my sides untill broken in and with the liner i dont think it would ever conform to my sides, and i want it comfortable from the start. I need a leather gun belt but cannot decide on the maker. I found a belt that has almost all options available,Contoured,Kydex reiforcement liner,Tapered from 1.5" to 1.25" or 1". No exotic leather or .75" hole spacing. The price is really good for those features, $75. Sounds like a great deal compared to most with those options. Its made by Comp-Tac. anyone tried their belts?

I would love a horsehide belt from the beltman or from Kramer to match my holster... I bought a cheapo made in not-america leather belt at TSC because I needed a better belt asap and it's working for now... but it's starting to roll at the back belt loop and I don't know how long it's going to hold out. And it cuts into my sides. I wonder how the contoured belts work for the ladies...

All I know is I've been carrying for a couple of months now and one can go out & spend lots on a holster, but it isn't worth a damn without a proper belt.

For what it is worth,

I have had 7 gun belts in the last 10 years, Beltman, Don Hume, Galco,De Santis and a few others, I recently got a Milt Sparks and I can honestly say it is above the rest that I have had, I may never use another manufacturers Gun belt, I waited several months but it was worth the wait. I have sold all of my other belts. This one is made of Shark skin and by using the measuring method on their website, it fits me perfectly, I could not be more pleased :) I have already ordered a cowhide belt and am thinking of getting a 3rd
