Equal trade 9mm for RIA 1911 Compact?

I wanted you guy's opinion of an equal value 9mm pistol for a used Rock Island Armory 1911 .45acp Compact?

Thanks,

full disclosure: I'm wanting to take some training courses where we'll use a 1,000 rounds. I thought if I trade off one of the 1911's that I rarely use for a 9mm I could save money on ammo and possible recoil fatigue on my old hands.

If I took price out of the equation and only consider what I'd like at my side, I can't think of a 9mm I'd rather have than a RIA Compact. Just my opinion. I don't care for 9mms but love 1911s. Are you working on a deal?

Hard to say because its only worth what someone will pay or trade for it. I would post it up and see what kind of offers you get for trades. I would say anything in the average retail of $350 -450. You could come up with a list of pistols you would like to have and see where that leads you?
