Their signs aren't up to snuff, but I have spent my last money in there. We (4-7 folks) used to go there for lunch pretty frequently. No more.

My friend and I were both carrying here...

Too bad, I've heard such good things about their food. Guess I'll never know.

Oh well, there are plenty of decent restaurants that aren't discriminatory.

Same for Sidecar Cafe next to Bumpus HD.

Their food is 'meh' anyway, no big loss there...

One thing I have noticed about the spots here in midtown, with the exception of Huey's, nobody seems to be able to grasp what actually constitutes legal signage. Almost all of the signs I have seen were of the "No guns allowed" variety without the TCA language included.

I have spoken with Tiger the owner of the Young Avenue Deli & Soul Fish Cafe and he does not have plans as of yet to post. He said that he would allow his managers to have some input, and would only post if the majority requested it. Thus far, no posting and I don't expect to see one. So support him Memphis people. (I do quite often as it is my favorite watering hole) I'll feel safer knowing there are armed folks in there while I'm drinking!

Sucks about Celtic Crossing, I will no longer be dining there. Used to go twice a week or so. Oh well...

I do not no Tiger personally but know of him and am good freinds with a couple of servers. They are talking about carrying now after some drama went down.

Yeah, I heard about that too.

I haven't bothered checking the place out because I was sure it would be posted, what with all the hippy servers, clientele, and location. Go figure. I will recommend it to the "lunch group" for our next destination.

ChuckTaylor, if you get the chance next time you speak to Tiger (I have never met him), you might want to mention that he is definitely gaining at least some customers from Celtic, and thank him for us.
