Those look pretty cool! Are they fairly lightweight? I'm wondering if they might work without a belt...just clipped onto my jeans or shorts?

Also, do you know if he ever makes rigs for speedloaders or extra mags?

I dont notice it at all. My comptac is super annoying. The kholster is great.

I dont have one of these but they look like my Comptac CTAC for Glock 30 w/rail. I wear it without a belt and I can wear it with shorts without "issues".

I think drawing might not be as easy without a belt for it to clip to.

Very lightweight, and the clips seem to be pressed pretty tightly against the leather, so I think they'd work w/o a belt, though a belt would secure it much better.

You could always buy it back. I even added night sights and a wolf spring set plus metal guide rod.

I have one of these for my Officer's model 1911. They work very well and are super comfortable. Pay the extra $6 and get the kydex clips. For $36, these are a great deal. You can also trim away any unneeded leather. I outlined the cut on mine with a marker, and am very happy with the results. Even at the $45 regular price these are a good deal.
