Morristown/Jeff City/Sevier Shoot?

Anybody interested in riding to the Sevier Indoor Range for a shoot/lunch field trip sometime?

Let me know if you are and I'll call the range and see if we can reserve it for an hour or some some week day.

Anyone else ??? The guys at SIR are some of the nicest people around. I think we could all have a lot of fun if we arranged an afternoon of shooting ( We need to check with them and make sure they don't have a class that day ) and went out for dinner afterwards. I spoke with my friend Paul, who recently opened the Shrinp Dock restaurant on HWY 66 and he told me that we would be more than welcome and might even set something up special for us. Just a suggestion but I might even be able to talk the warden into tagging along

There is also a members only range in Gatlinburg called the "Gatlinburg Sportsmans Club" which we may be able to arrange something with on the premise of a trial basis just to check it out www.gatlinburgsportsmansclub.com

Well, I headed over to the range yesterday to see if they were agreeable to my plan. Never made it. I haven't seen traffic that bad at 1:00 in the afternoon in a long time~! Bumper to bumper both lanes, and creeping along. I rode it out for about 5 miles until the truck in front of me rear-ended the new red Hummer in front of him. Rather than pull out of traffic they had to both jump out and inspect,talk, point etc. I figured this was my sign to make a U turn and try again another day.

sgtrutledge if you want to take over the fact finding with Wayne at the range, that would be great!
