Those grips made all the difference in the world. Ugly little bugger but it has several hundred rounds through it. It has a twin sister owned by my brother which also has several hundred rounds through it, neither have had a hiccup not a FTF, FTE, Jam of any kind. Gotta love the price too.

Sorry about the red-x, it must be because it is an attachment over at hipointforum.com . I will upload it somewhere else and re-post. I can see it though, weird.

I had a Hi Point in .40S&W, I kick myself often for selling it. I wanna nudder one.

Even I'm getting the Hi-point Pistol bug. I've been peeking around for one to trade for. I love my little carbine. Just wish I had some more good mags for it. That seems to be the big weakness with them.

Squeeze the lips inward till you can barely get the shells loaded.

Mags, by the way, are $17 each (includes shipping) directly from Hi-Point.

+1

Stay away from aftermarket mags on hi-points. As stated above you can order them right from hi-point and have them in a few days and not have to play tweak em.

I wish I had read this earlier today. Work internet nanny doesn't let me play here, because it's an "Evil Weapons" site. I was at a Pawn Shop in Clinton and picked up two 10 round mags. We'll see how these work.

I now have a total of four 10 rounders (one is great, the original jams every time, 2 have yet to be tested) and 2 15 rounders, one which works well and the other only spotty. I need to work on them though. They are not usable with my new ATI stock.

The rifle itself is pretty accurate. At a 100 yards I was getting 2-3 inch groups with a 4 power scope. It's not a sniper rifle, but I was happy!

I have a Hi-Point .380 and enjoy shooting it when i find ammo. :)

It's never jammed, but out of 4 different brands i've tried ('Winchester White box, Federal Premium HP, random hand loads from a friend, and Hornady HP's) i had several FTFs with the Hornady's of all things because of the shape of the bullet's nose. Anything else though, and it's loads and fires fine. No FTE's or other malfunctions to report after 200 rounds.
