no more blazer brass?

Haven't seen any of the wally worlds getting in blazer brass lately. They have been getting in some reddish box federal that is selling at the same price though. I asked a clerk about it the other day and he said it was being replaced but was the same stuff in a diff box. I have bought a few boxes but haven't had a chance to shoot it. Anyone shot it yet, and is as good as the blazer?

I've seen this question on several forums. It's not blazer in a different box, they're made in different factories in different states (although CCI & Federal are owned by the same parent company).

One poster said he called Federal because it's not listed on their website. He was told it's the American Eagle repackaged for Wally World (thus the WM # on the box). All the posters that tried it say it's just fine, no problems reported.

I haven't heard anything, but it's very possible.

The same company (ATK) owns several ammo brands, so if this is true, I'm sure they will replace it with something of equal quality and price. I wouldn't sweat it.

I've had more failures with American Eagle than with Blazer Brass. I think the AE is more lightly loaded.

It has primers that decay in six months making the ammo worthless!!!11!one!

I've noticed it here in Knoxville as well. I've bought some of it but haven't had the chance to send it downrange yet.

I've had zero issues with American Eagle or Blazer.

Shot a box of Federal .45 from WM a couple of weeks ago. No misfires or failures to feed or wildly inaccurate shots, but it was just one box.

I have put about 150 rounds through my XDm and have had no issues at all. I liked the blazer and this seems just as good so far.
