or "testing the waters" postings in the classifieds? Why not just post the item for sale, with a price and see if it sells? What's with all the playing of games?

I think some folks somehow feel more comfortable throwing it out there like that. Maybe a little on the fence about letting it go, but would for the right deal.

I can see how it would annoy some folks, but I don't have an issue with it.

Who cares? Lol. If you don't like it, don't do it. :P I don't get why people eat mayo with their french fries, but it doesn't effect me personally so I let them do as they please.

IMHO, ya know what you paid for it. You can use the internet to see what it's going for.

Set a price and be willing to negotiate.

I don't get it either, so I stay out of those threads. If you want to sell it quit screwing around and post it.

But I also see why others value it, which is why I stay out.
