Favorite Game Series?

Since we're flexing our geekness lately, what are some of the genre's and series' that you guys enjoy?

I enjoy most FPS games, though I have played my share of bad ones. CoD, Medal of Honor, Doom, and Quake are all good - and Prey even though it isnt a series was actually surprisingly cool. I have played an enjoyed almost all of the Zelda titles, I'm a big Castlevania fan as well. I like fighting games like Street Fighter & Killer Instinct, and am a big fan of JRPG and survival horror games.

Man, I started this thread thinking it was gonna be easy, but suddenly I realize that there are WAYYYY too many titles across all genre's that I like. So I'll just stop there and be mostly generic.

The only video game I every played religiously for months on end was the Gran Turismo series.

Other than that I enjoy FPS games, but never get overly involved or complete them except for a few select ones (Halo, Golden Eye)

call of duty modern warfare is good but I wish it had more Coop

I have finished all the dooms, quakes, halos, Call of Duty(s), Unreal Championship Tournament 2K4 UT3.

On a somewhat related topic, sure wish Valve would come out with another Half-Life... HL & HL2 were epic.

Back when I played them and before the cheats got to where it was impossible to play, the Delta Force series. Delta Force Blackhawk Down especially. I like to snipe, what can I say.

Well, my favorite genre is definitely FPS. I actually competed at Quakecon in 2003 and won 3rd in the world for RtCW. I played some Killzone 2 for PS3 and like I said in the other thread, CoD:WaW. I played a lot of counter-strike before it was cool. Played a lot of WoW back in the day. Played all of the Final Fantasies and Zeldas. My favorite series is probably Metroid though. My favorite single game of all time is Final Fantasy 3(6) though.

Six is by far the best, although 7 is a close second... series really went to crap after that though. Here's hoping 13 is good!

CoD, Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid. I used to like the Resident Evil games, but after the 3rd one they all got dumb and repetitive.
