Question about Rare(ish?) XD40

Hey guys,

I recently purchased the XD below. I know it's an OD 4" Service model, 40cal and it's ported (V10). I can only find information on Springfields site about a black version of the V10. Did they actually make this gun, or do you think it has been put together after the fact?

Also, have an estimate on it's value? I do believe to have gotten a good deal on it

Very cool! One of the gun magazine publishers recently did and article on special Springfields, some tactical and competition models.

I do believe that came from the factory, and that there's not too many of them out there (I could be wrong, but I've never seen one in person).
