Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia , just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time. I have not been able to confirm this with snopes, but this video will bring tears to your eyes while giving you real hope that there are people who care about this country. You are not alone.

I had to close the door to my office while watching this to keep my co-workers from seeing me choke up. This is incredibly powerful. God Bless Sgt. Beale and all of the men and women who do or have served this great nation.

I was able to hold it together until I saw the motorcycle riders @ 1:08 saluting...

Great video!

Amazing. A hero's return. The homemade "Freedom Isn't Free" sign broke me up.

Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama should see this video.

Godspeed Sgt. Beale.

Thanks for putting this up, Suntzu.

That was an amazing tribute. I'm not normally the emotional kind, but I'll admit that I got a bit choked up watching that.

That's the America I know and love. Not to be negative but it is truly sad every soldier returning home was not afforded the same honor. The vets a long the way definitely choked me up.

I wish every American could see this. Maybe people then would realize the sacrifice these brave men and women are making for us. I saw this video a few weeks ago but it still gets to me. God bless Sgt. Beale and all the men and women in uniform.:P

Search failed me. Very bump worthy.

Agreed. Some things are worth seeing more than once, and this is definitely one of them. Thanks for bringing it to the forefront.

It's disappointing that all our heroes don't receive such a welcome home.

I cried the whole way through.

God Bless all of our boys.
