Cordova Wal-Mart on G'twon near Walnut Grove in Memphis...

Don't have time to really scour the area looking for ammo. Haven't shot my pistols in a couple months because I've not wanted to shoot up my last 500 rounds of 9mm. So every Saturday when we go to Wal-Mart for groceries I push my cart past the gun counter and gaze longingly into the empty ammo case. No success for me, despite numerous stories of success for others.

This weekend was a hectic weekend of moving into a new house and the Saturday Wal-Mart trip didn't happen. I took Monday off to finish up the move and get unpacked. So I was in Wal-Mart with my family on Monday morning stocking up on groceries for the new place and as I push my cart past the gun counter expecting another failure I am surprised to see 4 100rd boxes of WWB and a bunch of 50rd boxes of Remington UMC. I inquire if I can ignore the six box limit and am told "absolutely not!" Oh well... I picked up the 4 boxes of WWB and 2 of the boxes of RUMC... 500 rounds for under $110 including tax...

Finally!

Finally!

I would have had a family member come back and buy the remainders. Haha

As an FYI, Wal-Mart typically gets their shipments in Sunday nights. The one in my area is like clock work.

I hear this story a lot from this Walmart. Damn and I live like 40min away from it. The Walmarts near me say they haven't received any 9mm for the past 6-8months.

I believe it varies from Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart. The ones near me seem to get restocked mid-week. The one in Cool Springs seems to have ammo on Fridays or Thursdays.
