Anyone heard about any of these cities on if they are going to opt in or out of park carry? I know I saw White House was allowing but haven't heard of any of the others around me. thanks

Its so confusing ... honestly I'd check out the entrance of the park and see if its properly posted. If so, then no.. if its not then carry... but I'd keep it concealed.

To opt out of the state law regarding park carry the local municipality or county must pass an ordinance restricting carry permit holders from carrying in their parks. The state legislature passed the law with the language of "Resolution" in it rather than ordinance however the State Constitution specifically requires an "Ordinance" as an ordinance sets the decision in law and codifies it to allow for penalities (fines, arrest, etc.) and a resolution is leagally nothing more than what a body considers a "good idea". Both require public hearing however ordinances require at least three readings in three seperate public meetings. This gives more time for backers and detractors to gather and present evidence to either support or refute the idea of the ordinance. This is precicely why IMOH most of the "opt-out" resolutions being passed will not stand the test of the court.
