What is a Savage Model 10 in .223 going for on the used market these days?

I have a Savage 10 in .223. It doesn't have the AccuTrigger.

It is Blue, and in a Synthetic stock. A Rocky-Mount Bi-pod, and a 4-16x44 A/O Scope.

I bought it from a family member with intentions of shooting groundhogs.

All I ever shot was paper. And that was 2 years ago. I don't see me shooting it again. And I am back in the the pistol market again.

Don't hold back on me. I'm not one to get my feelings hurt.

It sure doesn't cost any thing to keep it in the safe.

I'm hoping to get enough to make out with a used Ruger Auto ect....

But I honestly have no idea what it is worth. All I know is what I have in it.

And if it's value is less than that. I'll keep it.

Here is a pic, I'd say it at least 98%.

I'm sure if you look hard enough there is a scratch on it some where.

I would say, honestly, in the $250-$300 range. You might get more, but without Accu-trigger and the entry level scope/bipod combo I wouldn't expect too much more. Then again...just my :poop:

I slap myself up side the head every time I think about the 223 Savage 110 I let go a few years ago. That thing would really shoot. I killed a great deal of groundhogs with it. The old fellow that I use to groundhog hunt with had a heart attack and the doctors did not want him to shoot any rifle that had any recoil. He had been hunting with a 243 Win. Granted it did not have much recoil but he was afraid to try it. I sold him my 223 so he could still hunt. I told him that if he ever wanted to sale it or he had to stop hunting I wanted it back. He promised me I could. About a year latter he had another heart attack and died. After the funeral I talked to his wife about buying the rifle back and she said that he had given it to his nephew. So much for his promise that I could get the rifle back.
