Finally found some 9mm JHP at walmart

I've been searching for some 9mm JHP's and have refused to pay the inflated prices. I finally found some remington JHP's at Selmer walmart last night. They aren't the best in the world but for $25 for a hundred rounds I couldn't turn it down. They had plenty of .40 s&w, .45 and 9mm fmj. Looks like this ammo shortage is finally ending.

I saw the 250 round bulk packs of remington .45 and .40 at the wallmart on Nolensville Road last night... but they wouldn't sell me any because it was "after 10pm". My watch said 9:58, but arguing with a walmart employee is like banging your head against a brick wall and expecting anything but a trip to the hospital.

They said it was a "federal law". I knew it wasn't true, but I also knew that I wasn't going to convince anyone to open up the case with my good looks. Some battles ya just don't wanna fight after 13 hours in the kitchen.

I get off of work at 11pm and always go by the local Wal-mart to buy ammo (if they have any) because I know that if I wait until the morning it will be gone. Sounds like some lazy people not wanting to find the key to open the case.

At our wal-mart they have a sign that states No FIREARM sales after 10pm. I just point at that if they seem like they don't want to help.

Plus, they still have the old cabinet that isn't locked at all, no glass, nothing. ;)

I bought the 9mm JHP's at about midnight. I've heard some walmarts having that policy.

I do believe TICS shuts down then, so they'd be no way to get a check done. Could an FFL member confirm?

I can understand not selling firearms after 10pm but not ammo. This doesn't seem to be a company wide policy because some stores allow it. Ammo sales that is.

I'm sure it's not a corporate policy, as I have bought ammo after 10 in some myself.

Just frees up having to have someone with level to authority to have a key.

Wallys restock storewide overnight, too, so it's one more person to help with that without having to hire someone.
