They are both excellent guns, and I envy you for getting to make that choice. I have been dying for a Xd. My friend own ones and the gun is practically perfect in every way, no jams, misfires, dead on accuracy and excellent trigger. The CZ I can't speak for, but I the CZ75 is an excellent built gun so I would hope the quality is for all their guns.

The CZ's shoot better for me.

But on avg. they go for less in the used market.

So if you get it. I'd make sure you know it's the one you want first.

As for value. If it is EDC then money is of little concern.

Get the one that fits you best, and if you can shoot them first.

Get the one you like/Shoot better.

I vote CZ for carry....

I think you can't go wrong with either, and it's going to come down to what feels better in your hand. Have you had a chance to shoot both?
