If the post legally or not, I for one am actually ok with seeing these signs go up. It lets me know about the places that should have never and won't again get my money. On a side note though, I personally plan to start sending some form of communication (haven't decided yet - email, letter, phone call etc...) to each place that I come across that is posted (legally or otherwise). I will politely explain to them that I decided NOT to dine in their restaurant that day due to their position on firearms. If enough people did this then it would serve as a constant reminder of dollars lost. Who knows if it will change any minds but it will make me feel like I am doing something.

I could care less about NONLEGAL signs, if I happen to be with people who do not know that I carry and they like to eat at a certain restaurant. I just conceal and not worry knowing I am legal. If I am footing the bill and I choose, I won't give my money to a restaurant like Huey's in Memphis, especially now that they might be putting up legal signs.

What I plan to do: I go to lunch M-F everyday in Cool Springs/Franklin...I go with 3 or 4 other guys-a few of which are permit holders. I don't carry during the work day FYI. And I usually ride with someone else to lunch-so I expect to find myself in a situation where we show up to a restaurant and see that it has a sign banning guns-and since I can't really make everyone go somewhere else it will be a learning experience and I'll pretty much have to eat there at least once before I know not to go back. So I plan to ask the server to have the manager come over, we'll have our table of 4 or 5 guys in suit and ties and I'll basically tell the manager I'm a permit holder and not carrying at this time but wanted to let him/her know that I won't be back because of their policy. I would think that would make some kind of impact-if I were the manager it would put a little reality to the policy they choose to implement. We'll see what happens I guess.
