Most Comfortable Handgun You've Held?

Recommended Posts

I'd have to say the P-08 Luger is the most comfortable, pointable hangun I've ever shot, followed by a Ruger MkII with the bull barrel. For modern defensive handguns, I just love my old 2nd generation Glock 19.

CZ P01 its me like it was tailored to my hands.

Most comfortable I've ever held would probably have to be Kimber's Pro CDP by a small margin. After that it is a toss up, I don't tend to find too many guns uncomfortable personally.

I like how my XDm 9 feels. Mild recoil and 19 rounds of 9mm, can't go wrong! I haven't bought a holster or any defensive ammo for it yet, though.

All of mine are pretty comfortable, especially the Beretta 92FS and the Beretta Cheetah 84FS. But I guess the .380 edges out the 9MM just a tad.

2nd Generation Glock 19 with Hogue slip on. Series 70 nickel plated Colt Lightweight Commander with Pachmayr checkered rubber wraparound grip only comes in second because it's gone....

The one with a warm barrel

This may sound weird, but my Beretta PX4 with the medium backstrap and a Hogue Handall is honestly my most comfortable gun. (Compared to my Tokarev, lol)

I'll have to change my vote to a CZ P07. That thing points and holds excellently.

I have to agree with the Hi-Power, although 1911's come pretty close.

...tough question:

Colt Commander with Pachmayr grips and a beavertail.....but that full-race Springfield Armory 1911A1 in my avatar is a close second. :)

Ruger SR9 with flat mainspring cover. Makes it feel like a Commander 1911, which I guess technically means I prefer that. Doesn't it? I'm confused now.

I'll also add that my VERY well-used Ruger Mk II is so comfortable to me I can almost hit without aiming. I guess that may be familiarity as much as comfort though.
