Not a good place to apply?

No, not that at all. I posted in the wrong thread.

SPD has some fine folks there, and IMO is squared away.

Todd,

Thanks for the heads up.

My son will grad with his criminal justice degree this fall and is starting to apply to local PDs.

I'll pass this to him.

If you tell them Todd sent you, they'll throw you in jail. True story.

I passed this on to my buddy who has applied for MPD among others, but not SPD yet

Excellent!

A little birdie told me that SPD is short manpower and needs more good folks. ;)

The agility is a piece of cake.

Next is the medical, psych, and CVSA exams.

If he does well on those and passes a backround he'll most likely get a job offer.

Good luck!

..... The agility is a piece of cake....

Todd,

Thanks, his Mom & I are cheering him on. After all those years of driving him all over the country to play travel soccer he should have some agility.

What is the CVSA exam?

OH..., Wonder if he should mention that he has been shooting IDPA since he was 14.
