The federal government has slowly taken conrol over the through taxes. They are taking from one state and giving a portion to another (like robbing from Peter to pay Paul). The state governments have not countered with them... for the money.

Congress, who used to be there to serve us, are right in the middle of it. Congress was founded in three branches so one could counter the other two. Now they are walking around hand in hand.

It is time for the states to take their constitutional authority back from the feds. Re-read the constitution.

In one way, this is the best thing that has happened to our nation in decades. Obama has woke the people up.

Your freedom of speech includes the freedom to find another venue to espouse whatever you want. It does not mandate that I allow you to say whatever you want on a privately owned forum.

People seem to be completely clueless when it comes to this.

LOL

TGODavid, you and I have disagreed before on different issues, but we are on the same page in this regard.

Yes, "WE, the people" have the right to argue any point we believe in, but it is also true that "We, the people" have the right to go home and turn on the ballgame and not listen

Wow, talk about an all over thread, we went from 10A to 2A to 1A, does this constitute "political activism"?

As stated earlier, an individual trying to fight Federal vs State law in a Federal court is going down. The Federal court will not allow state law as mitigation and individual will be guilty. The individual who tries this must develop a liking for prison life in a federal prision. Any appeal on this one, if at all possible, would probably be years down the pike.

This is a fight in the courts for states not individuals.

Update on Firearms Freedom Act:

I thought for sure I saw this on the threads but can't seem to locate it now. It may have been another forum.
