I reload he following pistol calibers: 9mm, 38 spl, .40 s&w and 45ACP.

All of these are for range use or match use using cast bullets. Does anyone else reload these with a common powder?

I don't use it any more, but Unique will load each of those calibers just fine. I'm sure there are others, but if you want to stick with one powder for everything you listed it wouldn't be a bad choice.

Unique and/or W 231. I've been using these 2 for years now.

I'm working with AA#2 right now and it looks pretty good, and will cover the calibers you listed.

HP38 / W231 will work for all of those but won't be winning any awards for maximum fps. It's a good workhorse powder from what I've seen so far.

Another from Alliant is Bullseye. I have been using it for years in target loads

+1...I use it for my 9mm and 45 target loads.....
