You can get both a front and rear sight to mount on the rail. I have the Yankee Hill Machine QDS set. I also plan on getting an EOtech for regular use and using the iron sights as backup.

Yea, but how long is the rail? You don't want the front and rear rights to be 4"-5" apart, do you?

I could be wrong, but I assumed he was talking about the rail on the upper receiver.

True, but since he said it doesn't have a front sight I deduced that he probably has a forearm of some sort and a low profile gas block. I could be wrong though. If he does just have the upper receiver rail he would be better off just skipping the rear sight and just doing the EOTech/Aimpoint since those are stand alone optics and not meant to be used in conjunction with an iron sight.

Do you have a rail on your gasblock? I went with a troy matched set of popup BUIS and an EOTech. Lets have a picture of your new firearm and I will tell you what you can do with it.

+1

I have no real need for BUIS, but I'm going to get me a set of the MBUS sooner or later, just for the heck of it.

My Sights are Co-witnessed with my EOTech. I can fade between the two.

Also Recently I got the trijicon tritium front sight post, and it is awesome.

I have a similiar set up, minus the tritium. Currently using a troy front/rear, with a eotech with 3x magnifier with the flip to side base. It's quite handy!

No rail on the handgaurd or the gas block.

Lemme guess, you have a bushmaster optic ready?

My beef with bushmaster is they dont have a rail'd gas block like... most everyone else's optic ready rifle in the industry. Really throws a kink into your options vs everything else.

Hmm.. odd that it doesn't have either a foward rail or the standard triangle front. Maybe it was made as a pure optics gun. Depending on how you want to use it I'd put a forearm on it so you can mount a front sight and have a decent sight radius. Or you could just use it optics only and just get an EOTech/Aimpoint and don't bother with iron sights at all. Either way there are a ton of options for the AR so figure out what you want out of it and work from there.

I have the 3X optic, just waiting on the mount that I got off ebay ( it is authentic, I have seen video ) for $140. That's the spacer and the mount. Do you know anyone that needs a spacer? I have an extra. IM me.

Once I get that in place, my reciever rail will be full. I have a Troy 2 piece foreend too.

You know? Having an AR is like owning a camero, I hear.
