Folks,

If anyone can help, I'm looking for someone that has some solid AK-47 experience in TN, particularly if they are located in the Middle TN area. Regardless, I am willing to travel within TN.

The work will require some machining to the existing receiver.

Thanks much!

Sherman,

Yeah... sidefolder conversion with Bulgarian triangle, new sights, moly-resin job, and a few other things. I also have a milled gun that needs some of the same treatment, minus the sidefolder.

Do you know someone?

Thanks.

Bluemax, thank you for responding. I have seen Troy's work, and it is very good indeed.

10Kilr, that is one good-looking rifle. As to the sights, I have Fuller's rear sight and will put on a 24/7 front. The second AK will get the XS Big Dot treatment.

I appreciate it gents. I think I have the information I need.

Bill Scarpino at On Target does good work on AK sidefolders, and Sean and Ronnie there do a very good Duracoat. They have worked on two of my guns.

Recently, all of my AK work is done by, "Rifle Dynamics," in Las Vegas. Jim Fuller and Dan Jaquish there are personal friends of mine and I would recommend their work without hesitation on anything that launches bullets, hands down. They can provide and install XS Sights, and just about any other worthwhile addition to your AK or M4.
