A couple of years ago I sold my SA Mil-Spec 1911-A1. Well, I've been itching for another 1911 bad. I've always wanted a Kimber so I've been looking at the Warrior. Tungsten had suggested a SA Operator. :taser: I was hung up on getting a Kimber.;) We were going down to Hero-Gear this weekend so I called and talked to Dan. He to suggested the Operator also, said I'd probably happier with it than I would the Kimber. I've always though SA made some great weapons so I agreed to look at.

Well, I now have a SA Loaded MC Operator. :D

I took it for a spin yesterday. This thing is dead on. Little to no slack, quick reset, recoil damn near a 9mm. It's listed to have a 5-6lb trigger. I'm no expert but it has the lightest 5lb trigget I'v ever felt. The only issue is it's supose to have a 2 piece guide rod but it has a Mil-Spec recoil spring. I'm going to call SA tomorrow to see if it was a line change and they didn't update the marketing documentation.

Big thanks to Joe and Dan for hooking me up. I'll be back for some rifle pieces soon.

That is a very nice 1911. I have drooled over it several times. If it had been in the showcase a year ago I would have bought instead of the SA Loaded 1911 I have.

Pics!!! Good choice on the SA Loaded. I checked one out down at Hero Gear on Saturday as well. Those SA folks make one hell of a firearm!

Just got off the phone with SA. It is a line change. They were having to many issues with the 2 piece guide rod and went to the standard recoil spring.
