Scroll down the screen a little, and the reader poll is on left side of screen. The question is "Should City Council have opted out of the state law allowing permit holders to carry concealed handguns in Oak Ridge parks?" so the proper vote here is "NO"

20 no and 5 yes. It ain't a democracy over here in the Ridge folks.

Did anyone see the article in the Oak Ridger about Oak Ridge being #3 in the nation for afforable homes? Then it mentioned crime was like 3 times the national average? Who would have ever thunk it?
