Picked this little puppy up at the nashville show. Took two strong men and a packmule to lug it out! Its a suomi 9mm, and that is a 71 round drum attached to it :D. Just checked it out, it weighs 13.4 lbs unloaded (probably 16 loaded), so needless to say, it kicks like a .22.

Unfortuntely, I think its cursed. Within the first 10 rounds I put through it, it jammed and bent the extractor. So in the interest of procrastination, I decided to mess with it later, and just unload the other 15 or so rounds I had in it manually. Well, I wasn't paying attention, and when I released the spring pressure, I got my thumb in the way, which proceeded to skin it. Pretty much cut in by the thumb nail, and almost came out by the pad of my thumb (oh no, obamas right, guns are dangerous, this is must be why they want to ban high cap mags!), thought I was gonna need stitches, but once I got it cleaned off, it turned out it didn't hit anything important. About 1/8 of an inch deep or so, but down the side, not into anything. But, once its extracting correctly, and now that I've reattached my thumb, it should be quite a fun piece of equipment!

Seeing that you've bought a cursed, evil, thumb destroying gun, I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands. :P Just let me know when you want to meet up. :D

Seriously, nice looking rifle. Congratulations.

What it is! What do you can this thing?

Looks like a PPSh but different.

They were built from parts kits that were made from demilled Finnish kp/-31 submachine guns. Note the barrel extension to make it legal length. The kp/-31 was basically just a Finnish copy of the ppsh, thus the likeness. There weren't a whole lot of them made.

Shotgun News had an article on them a couple of months back. Seemed to be very impressed with them. MSRP was up there though. Seems like it was around $1000. I think it may still be in the "Library" at work. I'll try to check it out again tomorrow.
