Are any of you guys affiliated with this mission? It's a youth mission organization for the Baptist faith churches, where youth groups are dispatched all across the country to do mission work in underserved areas. Last year for us was in Paradise, TX. It was for me a time for immense spiritual growth. I'm very involved with our youth group and me and McFlurry (Jcochran88) teach a class of teenage boys every Sunday.

This Saturday, five adults (including me) and 22 teenagers will be leaving for Franklinton, LA. Our goal is to repair the roofs of leftover Katrina damage. Our mission is to share the love of Christ.

Any of you guys familiar with this program, or ever participated?

If you're the prayin'-kind...drop one for us this week as there will be trials. Thanks. I'll update things upon our return.

You got assistance going out tonight!

It's not pancakes either!

Jesus likes pancakes.

Seriously, thanks. We're all packed and ready to go. There's some apprehensive kids and parents for sure. I figure if He takes me out while I'm doing His business...what a good time to go!!!

See you boys in a week or so.

Have provided meals and transortation for World Changers in the past. It gives me hope about the future from dealing with the kids. All of the future generation is not made up of self entitled cry babies.

Make sure they use lots of sunscreen and drink more water than they think is possible.

Thank You for going!

I have taken part in 7 World Changers trips. They were all awsome trips. Their is no better way to show you care about them than to be working on their roof in 120 degree heat. I saw lots of hearts changed. The last trip I went on we were working at an elderly man house. His wife had died a few months before. His heart was hard and I dont think he even wanted us there the first few days. By the end of the week

he was playing with the kids in the front yard. The last day he asked Christ in his heart after being an atheist for 30 years. Three years later he visted our church to thank the kids for helping him turning his life around. Two weeks later he passed away from a heart attack but we all know where he is today.
