Holster for an XD 9?????

I recently got a XD tactical 9mm (5 in) and have a Blackhawk Xiphos NT weapons light mounted on it. The problem I have is Blackhawk doesn't make a light-bearing holster for the XD models yet. As much as I like the regular Blackhawk holsters, it would be a shame to have paid $199 dollars on a weapons light and not be able to carry it.

The second problem is, I think that it would be hard for me to get a custom holster made because the light while mounted does not sit directly under the weapon as most other lights do. It sits slightly to the left of the underside of the barrel.

Anybody know of someone who could help in this matter? Any help would be appreciated.

There's a place off of Hwy 96 between Franklin & Murfreesboro called the Saddle Shop. There's a Custom leather guy there that makes holsters. You may want to take your weapon & light to him & see what he can come up with. The weapon light is gonna be your biggest obstacle in finding a great holster.

Do a search for Rusty Sherrick. He's a high quality holster maker in Pennsylvania and does a great number of this style of holster. Don't know if he has that particular light, so he may need to borrow it at the time he would make the holster for you.
