Positive HCP interaction with Cleveland PD

I decided to take the dog to the Greenway in Cleveland to relax after several hours on dead ending on the job search.

A Cleveland cop liked my dog and we got chatting for quite awhile. Eventually he commented on my gun ever so slightly printing through my sweaty shirt. No drama at all. Just asked what I was carrying, then the rest of the conversation turned to guns and the outdoors.

Pretty cool!

Good deal. I have only had one interaction with LEO since getting my permit. Got stopped for speeding by a Statie, and I handed him my DL with my HCP. He just asked where it was, and no drama. And to boot, he let me off with a warning. Good night overall.

I work for a small local government entity, and have had the opportunity to discuss HCP and the surrounding topics of conversation with most of our LEOs. It is unanimous amongst those that I've spoken with (the vast majority) that they are in favor of HCPs and the overwhelmingly responsible citizenry that legally carry.
