I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place around the Nashville area that does the CCW classes, preferably not one in the $150+ range. I found one that the class was a little further out from here that was $75, but I can't remember where it was. Any help would be appreciated

There are numerous people here that hold classes. myself included.

Guns and Leather in Greenbrier

CIS in Smyrna

Goodlestville Gun Shop in...wait for it....Goodletsville

I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the instrucuctors/ classes, but you get the idea.

I teach at HGR in Gallatin, we charge 80.00 for the class, 20.00 for the range.

I'm not sure on the others pricing strutures, but I'm sure they'll be along directly to fill in the blanks.

What are the shooting requirements for the class? I'm a really terrible shot right now with the handgun. Low and to the left.

I should have answered your other questions as well.....We shoot a 25 round practice course from the 3 yard line to the 15 yard line. We do this to check everyones shooting ability and see where help may be needed. Also to get folks used to shooting around each other. The qualification is from the 3 yard line to the 15 yard line as well and it is a 48 round course. Minimum hits is 33 out of 48. Target is pretty large. Feel free to ask any other questions.

I had my HCP a decade before David began teaching the permit courses (Cole Personal Safety) so I don't have a personal account of the class overall. However...I can 100% guarantee that David is a top-quality, fun, energetic Christian man. I've known him and his family for many, many years and will vouch for him that they are of top character. His class will be fun, informative, constructive and complete. David is one of the good guys.

And he's just downright tactical-sexy...(did I just say that out loud?)

I took my class at Guns and Leather. They are about the least expensive around. (60 bucks or so) This was my third course and it was just as good as the other two.
