I hate the KNS but it's the only paper around here.

More than 30 people - some of them enjoying popcorn and soda and others clutching tissues and fighting back tears - gathered in Knoxville on Tuesday to pay tribute to a man they called "the king of pop."

The Wynnsong theater in West Knoxville showed Michael Jackson's memorial service as it streamed live from the Staples Center. The event was free for the public, and at least a handful of people said they were thankful to have somewhere to go to honor Jackson.

"This lets fans grieve together instead of with people who make fun of us," said Lenoir City resident Chrystal Carroll.

The headline makes it sound like 1000s showed up for the show. Then you read it and only 30 showed up. Sensationalizing at their best.

x54r ammo is fairly cheap and plentiful, never really sat down and added up what I shoot and what it costs. Walmart might be short on ammo but I am not.

You might want to check out some of the other rags in the Scripps-Howard dynasty. We're pretty well off compared to the KNS's sister paper in Memphis.

I was thinking noonish Saturday for shooting instead of browsing KNS. That is if SUNTZU does not mind if I spend my money on ammo, and keep finding more of it in my ammo bunker.

Of course UPS might know something no one else does.

I don't mind at all. I forgot you were buying x54 ammo, as I've been boxing up 9mm and was thinking handgun ammo. Do you like the brand you bought recently? And Garufa, what was the kind you bought that worked well?

Funny how Memphis got so bashed about the "bad cops" thing and the first thing I see as headlines when I clicked on the link was:"Two Knoxville Officers Resign Due To Probe" lol!
