Normally you sign the paper in front of the salesman so I doubt any monkey business was going on. She probably told her fam and friends that bday thing to make her seem more important to than she was. They would have probably told her she couldnt afford it or if you and steve where an item he would've paid for it so she just told everyone that steve got it for her saving her the agony

The condo….

We keep seeing talk that McNair and this other guy lived there. But when this first went down I saw a report that this other guy owned the building and lived in a different condo in it. They said McNair would stay in this condo sometimes when he was in town. It sounds to me like this guy kept a party pad for his high roller friends. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, but it didn’t sound like either him or McNair lived there.

The guy that owned the condo is Charles Caldwell, the Metropolitan Trustee. He's the guy you make the check out to when you pay your Davidson Country property taxes.

He rents it to McNair and the guy that found them. But I agree, it sounds like the plot from The Apartment.
