Paris, TN. opted out of guns in parks bill.

I just don't get it. Do people really think there's no guns in parks?

Of all the crappy little towns to opt out. Paris, TN? LMFAO! I guess being home of the worlds biggest fish fry is something special after all.

Well at least it doesn't affect Paris Landing State Park.

I figure cities the size of Paris and Jackson are the ones that may go either way.

I think it is all but a given the larger cities, Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and so on are going to ban carry.

Small cities are liable to never bring it up and simply let the law go into effect.

The medium size cities....who knows. As we've seen, Jackson will allow carry and Paris will not.

Took the family out geocaching to be First to Find at "Am I in France?" geocache, got there about dark. No one bothered us, but we did some people having a "better" time than I would expect in a park. Logged the find and headed back to the parking lot.

Well I usually stay within the park when I go.

Of course the last time I went....it did feel a bit different.
