That would have done it. Please people remember, seeing as IANAL, AFAIK you can carry beginning at 12AM CST with your THCP, but remember, YMMV!

There we go.

Daniel,

How many people were there? (full/empty)

Could you tell who was who? (which side)

Any 'incidents'?

Any other observations?

Protesters outside?

etc.

Not Daniel, but...

1. Full court room. Room seated approximately 18 in the gallery although I suspect there were closer to 24. Representatives of the media sat in what would have typically been the juror's seats.

Enough citizen interest was present that the Court provided overflow seating in a nearby room with televised coverage and audio piped into it. Daniel, Fallguy, Ngoeser59 and myself were all in the primary chamber.

2. There were a few TGO shirts and one TFA shirt visible in our room. I noticed a few members of the TFA present, including John Harris and Bob Pope.

3. I saw no "incidents"

4. No protesters outside that I saw.

Come on...you know like..."Get out of my courtroom this is a complete waste of my time and the peoples time...CASE DISMISSED because of STUPIDITY."

I think it's more of "how can you ask that question when there's about 3 or 4 threads openly discussing it?"

It was dismissed, law goes into effect at midnight.

It was packed. Two court rooms. The main one then an overflow with at least sound as they asked speakers to move to the podium so the other room could hear. It appeared to be full of Pro in the main court room.

People who were there that are PRO-Restaurant Carry (In the main courtroom)

John Harris (Director of The TFA)

Bob Pope (From Bob Pope Radio Show & Gun Shows)

Nikki Goeser (ME!)

TGO David

TGO Fallguy

TGO Daniel

Barbara Oonk (Second Amendment Sisters Coordinator)

Anywhere from 5-8 TFA Members

A few 2nd Amendment Sisters

There were TGO Shirts and TFA Shirts right where the camera could see. Many supporters of The Restaurant Carry Law. I did not see ANY protests at all from any anti people. I did speak for a short time with Restaurant Owner (plaintiff) Randy Rayburn and he was NOT very nice. He was very loud, outspoken and heated when he spoke with me. I however was very kind and soft spoken but to the point. I told him that by posting, he is simply giving a direct invitation to criminals to come in and kill at will himself, his wife and his patrons because it tells the criminal that there is nobody there that can protect themselves. He did not like hearing that at all. He said, well.....you are just lucky YOU did not get killed trying to fumble in your purse to grab your gun. I just ended the conversation after that. I figured it was not worth my time to inform him that the gun would have been on my hip in a holster. Uhhggg. He was just NOT a nice person to speak with AT ALL.

Wonderful News! Thank you all that attended. I'm in Destin Fl where I can legally carry in Resturants that serve and must say it is nice not having to leave my weapon in my car. I haven't run into any "postings" yet.

The media ironically enough in the jury box.

This was during the recess.

Our fearless leader, the fallguy, Bob Pope coincidentally, someone I dont know.

I was like two seats down from the one I dont know when I was in my seat.

LOL...caught me when I was on my phone and I was probably the one that used their phone the least the whole day.

It was good to see everyone that was there.

I'm very pleased with the outcome and hope that within 90 days the AG's office can prepare a good argument as to why the law is not so vague as to be unconstitutional.

If at all possible I will be there for that hearing as well.

...and that Bob Pope is a real character.....
