Uncle Sugar is sending me on a trip to little rock next week. I will be driving so I will be carrying with me. I know that AR honors TN permits and have found a link to thier general carry rules. 2 of the rules are not however clear and I can not find the correct answer. I have emaild ASP and they have not returned my email. I figured I could stick it up here and maybe some of the west TN folks that go into AR can help out.

(12) Any portion of an establishment, except a restaurant as defined in § 3-9-402, licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises;

(13) Any portion of an establishment, except a restaurant as defined in § 3-9-402, where beer or light wine is consumed on the premises;

I can not seem to find 3-9-402. All I want to know is if we go out to Logans, or Outback or something similure do I need to leave in the car.

Please dont tell me concealed is concealed. I dont need to run the risk when traveling on military orders out of state. I dont mind leaving it in the car but if I dont have to I wont.

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

§3-9-402

(8) "Restaurant" means: any public or private place, without sleeping accommodations and that place:

(A) Is kept, used, maintained, advertised, and held out to the public or to a private or restricted membership as a place whose primary function and purpose is to take orders for and to serve food and food items;

(

:) Actually serves full and complete meals prepared in a fully equipped and sanitary kitchen and prepared from uncooked foods for service to and for consumption by its guests or members on the premises;

© Has a seating capacity of at least fifty (50) people;

(D) Has employed a sufficient number and kind of employees to prepare, cook, and serve suitable foods to its guests or members;

(E) On Sundays, serves alcoholic beverages on-premises only, in conjunction with meals;

(F) Serves food on all days of operations;

(G) Maintains separate sales figures for alcoholic beverages; and

(H) Has gross sales of sixty percent (60%) or more from the sale of food, food items, and nonalcoholic beverages, or, in the case of excursion boats, has gross sales of sixty percent (60%) of their gross income from boat rental fees and sales of food and nonalcoholic beverages.

So from that I'd say Yes, you can carry in Logan's and Outback...at least I have in AR.

Be safe on your trip. I've made the Nashville-Little Rock drive a couple times before, not fun...

I'll be leaving about 7:30 or 8 in the morning and taking my time. Not in a hurry. I figure it should take about what, 5 or 6 hours?

dont forget Arkansas is a must notify state. if stopped you must notify the officer you are carrying.

I normally do any way. Normally if I get stopped it was because I was doing something wrong anyway and knew it. HCP has gotten me out of a couple of tickets just by being polite and letting the officer know about it.
