New K&D Defender,Came Today,Im very unhappy with it....Pics

I order this holster 5 months ago,on Feb 14,here the pic from there web site..

The say on the site,it comes in 2 colors,black,brown,and it shows the shade of brown on the site,I ordered that brown,that they showed,and wanted the Elaphat Ear in Black....This is what I waited for 5 months for

That is Saddle Tan,IMO,..Miles away from that dark brown,they show on the web site,here are the 2 colors,they offer for this holster,this came from their site..

Does that look like the same color to you???It looks like Cordvan Brown to me on there,I would have got it in Black if I had known they would call sadle tan,instead of dark brown, heres one a member posted here a few weeks ago he had just got his Thunderbird,its really nice,I would have loved it..

I also posted on that thread,describeing the one I had ordered,...Well thats not whatI got,Im happy he got what he paid for.

On the ivvoice it says its Chesnut brown,???I didnt ask for that...thats not the color it showed on their web site,or offered, I guess if it says Brown, That means any shade they want to use..

$140.00 just to be thrown into my reject holster box...Too much contrast between that light tan abnd the dark black,it looks terrible.I would be afraid a BG would shoot me,then at the ER they would cut off my clothes while working on me,and see this hidious holster,and laugh at it and me.I have nothing bad to say about the work,The craftsmanship of it or the quailty,just the wrong color...I still cant believe it..waited so long.for that,its the color,that Gould Goodrich uses...hese a pice of 2 of there holsters,The top right and bottom left,are the 2...

My new Milt Sparks,VM2 1911 5 inch,and Milt Sparks belt,Cordvan Brown

or my new Glock 27 High ride slide,from Erik at Side Guard Holsters,and Mag carrier,in Brown..

Or my D.C. frm Eric at H.B.E. Cordvan brown..

Everyone else seems to know what Dark Brown looks like.....?? Oh well,live and learn....Maybe I can put some of that luquid Brown shoe polish on it and it will stain it darker??? Thanks for letting me vent, sorry for the whineing... :aargh4: Reminds me of a Halloween Pumpkin,orange and black..

Kevin will make it right. Contact him first before you blast him all over the web. The color of the Thunderbird on the site in the pic looks more of a Cordavon than a brown but that's just mec I don't really think your holster looks that bad it's def diff but if it's not what you were expecting I understand. If you didn't have you're intials on it you could prob sell it.

Kevin has decided to give me a refund on the holster....And I was incorrect about,it saying on the website that,they didnt take custom orders back....so case closed,and I hope a Mod on this site would either close this thread,or delete it completly,I have nothing bad to say about K&D holsters,or the quailty of the one I received....Thank You
