My wife started yelling LOOK, LOOK, There in the yard! I came running not knowing what to expect. They were within 20 feet of the house when we first saw them, but by the time I got the camera they had moved back to the tree line. Enjoy!

Nice! They come up in our back yard, seems to be the same ones each time - anywhere form 3-7 at a time. The can only get to within about 150 feet because of the fence and then the dogs seem them. Sometimes the deer just look at the dogs like, yeah, dummy, bark - you can't get us!

Thanks for sharing - cool pics.

I once worked my way up to within 3 feet of a lone fawn.. never tried to get any closer.. it took me about 20 minutes to cover 150 or so yards to that close. I will never forget it..

Many thanks for those fine pictures. We have a few nursing does show up at our place here in E TN. Have not seen any fawns yet this year although the neighbor, 1/4 mile away said she saw one in the hay field. Two bucks in velvet so far this year. Overall, the deer population is way down from previous years at our place.
