Kobra Carry

Picked up a Kobra Carry last week. What a sweet gun! Two things:

1. It has the Novak-looking Trijicon low-profile sights on it; however, I get very poor visibility on the front sight in daylight. Other than painting it, anybody have any recommendation for switching out the front sight? I'm a bit old fashion; I like to be able to see the front sight clearly in daylight! :-)

2. Also, this one has the ambi safety on it. If anybody else has a Kobra Carry or other Ed Brown with the same thumb safety and you'd prefer the ambi safety on, maybe a switch-out could be arranged. Just a thought.

Otherwise, this little piece of hardware is smooth and sweet. Ed Brown has done just about everything to make a 1911 almost as practical and reliable as a Glock! :-)
