I live about 15 minutes from AC and I would move there in a heartbeat. Better schools that I have here. Huge WMA if you like to hunt. Outdoor range not too far (on the WMA). Drawbacks, Not much to do there if you cant do it in the woods. Limited shopping. Long way to drive to a decent gunshop. Nice Wallyword but not the biggest one in the state. Local Bowtech dealer in town if you like to bow hunt. I have been to the shop once but can not really tell you that much about him.

Not really... this place is just a few minutes outside of Ashland city, in Chapmansboro: Custom Gunsmithing

I've been in there a time or two... seems to be a pretty nice place, and has a range. Might take you 20 minutes to get from Ashland city to there.

I'm in the AC, if you have your eye on a particular area of town/house, let me know and I'll tell you what the area is like or go scope it out for you.

Springfield and Greenbrier aren't all that far away, and Nashville isn't a bad commute at all.

I deliver to Ashland City, Pleasant View and Joelton. I'm the Miller beer guy. So if you move there (And those that already live there) make sure to say hi when you see the Miller truck bringing the sweet juice of life to your local retail establishment!

And if you drink Bud... suck it.

:D

First time I have ever heard of them. And they do Class III to. Hmmm going to have to check them out.

Thanks for the tip.

I live 20 minutes north (Clarksville, in Montgomery County). My cousins live in AC and it's a nice little area. There are also good little communities all around it. Montgomery County is OK, too, and if you see something in Clarksville, let me know (I would recommend the southeast side of the county, though).

Robertson County is nice, too, and has some really nice properties and like AC, is within an easy commute of Nashville - without the crime or metro government.

From the north/northwest of Nashville, the commute is not bad if you will be working and driving in each day. I think it may be easier than coming in from Franklin, but some of the TGO folks from there can confirm or correct that perception (Williamson County is very nice).
