With a hamburger and char-grilled Nathan's hot-dog in my belly (for now, there's alot more to eat later), West Knoxville sounds like a battle ground. Now that it's dark, going out to join the neighbors for a little celebration.

Did the right thing and read the Declaration of Independence this morning. That's what is all about, right?

Now it's time to celebrate.

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day and hope we all remember what happened in 1776, and why.

Had my parents and a good friend and his son over. I spent 4 hours grilling 5 slabs of ribs, spent some quality time with two 4 yrs olds teaching them firearm safety and showing them the results of .40 and .45 cals vs water melons and 2-liters, and then blew off $200 worth of works. Was my friends 1st 4th as an official citizen. Fantastic time had by all.
