are you talking about the water park that was going to be built in east ridge. the guy that was backing the park get it legal problems by writing worthless check to the company that was going to build it. the last that was heard is no. but it would be good if someone would take it up and do it.

If it wasn't going to have a firing range, I wouldnt go anyway. Heck, if you want water excitement just overspeed on a back road in the rain. wosautos40.gif

there's already lake winnie....what else could you want ???

Ya know, I took my family to Winnie and was not at all impressed. I wouldn't have spent much more, if any at all, going to Dolly World. Grant it, the lines were very short but, for what? Old assed rides that looked like they could fall apart at any minute? A dirty park?

I always enjoy Lake Winnie, and you could nearly BUY Lake Winnie for what a trip to Dollywood would cost ya.

+1.Lake Winnie is the best place around to people watch, take a redneck girl on a date or just take a 4 yr. old and let them ride kiddie rides all day. Also the roller coaster and vertical drop ride are worth the price of admission alone.
