A coworker reminded me of this last week. My son will be 3 in Feb, so it'll be his Christmas gift from daddy. :ugh: Given that a one year Sportsman license is $136, the lifetime license for him seems like a no-brainer. His little brother (T-minus 15 weeks) will get one too.

Yep. I really wish I would have gotten my daughter one before she turned 3. I kept thinking about it, but forgetting to do it. If she decides to be a sportswoman, she'd get my money's worth at the current $540 rate, but $540 is too much of a gamble in case she's not. Now $200 wouldn't have been! :)

Old thread! Well I tried to get him the license. Residency is based off of the parents. I did not meet the residency requirements when my sons 3rd b-day came. I missed it by 45 days. So for 45 days the new cost goes up $300 something dollars. It sucks! Oh well, thats regs working for you I guess??
