I'm afraid it will taste like dogfood though. Prolly will never actually open it!

Best becareful with that tactical can at work, some co-workers could feel threatened and report you for having a picture of a gun and some frown on bacon as well. Man you could get in real trouble. :death::drool::death:

That said I'm with Poak, after 5 or 10 mins I'd have to try it.

Is it good or bad? How can you look at it and know it's tactical bacon in a can!!! and not care to find out?

 I don't think he has to worry about any of his co-workers being offended... He works at Guns & Leather:)

Hey, you actually HAVE to try it. You shouldn't field untested gear. What if it taste horrible, or worse yet gives you the runs?!?!

You don't really want it taking up valuable weight and space in your Bug Out Bag if it's going to leave "The Dirty D" running down your leg while you're fighting off Zombies, right?

Does CMMG sell this stuff by the case? I bet we could get a group buy going here! I'm down for 1 or 3

Don't know about that brand but many years ago I used to buy canned bacon to take camping. As I remember it was quite good.

I wouldn't buy a AR from Oscar Mayer.... so I don't think I want to try any bacon from CMMG.

I'm pretty sure it's made by Yoders, and rebadged as TacBac by CMMG. Yoder's can be bought HERE

pretty sound advice there.

I would test it tomorrow for breakfast, and if it is edible get more.

I watched a thread on arfcom about this. The general feeling was something along the lines of :tinfoil:

Go ahead and try it. Take one for the team!

And as they also say on arfcom... DIBS ON GUNS!!! :P

Go for it Daniel. I know how close your desk is to the bathroom...you'll be safe. Don't know about the rest of your office mates...but you'll survive...most likely

The secret is out now! Oh so good. Anything can be good if eaten in the right circumstance. I like sardines out at hunt camp but got lazy one day around the house and opened a left over can for a snack and thought they were nasty!
