I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this. Common sense says it should be thrown out on it's face value. And that's what's scaring me.

Looking here and at TFA's website and then looking at the opposition's, they seem far more organized and willing to get in everyones face about it.

We're so concerned about our image and not ruffling any feathers, we're going to end up being able to carry in less places than we can now. At least legally.

its not going to be an issue, you can only fit so many people in a court room. If ya wanna get in you better be there plenty early and get in line. You cant be a distraction or the judge will throw you out. This is all for the media, the smart thing to have done would be organize protests outside and have a couple hundred there. But something like that would need great communication and extreme organization for our cause, and we simply dont have it.

Legally this should be a no brainer... I dont see that we have a problem unless the AG drops the ball on purpose!

I'm completely in agreement with you Phil. They're talking about Rayburn et al having a press conference on the courthouse steps before going in and having a large turnout of anti-supporters. They've got facebook pages and websites dedicated just to this issue. They are printing up postcards to leave with tips and sending legal signs to bars and restaurants to post. We've been way out-organized.

Chancellor Bonnyman is married to a lawyer that runs a non-profit center that benefits the poor. My guess is that he's a flaming liberal. I don't see him marrying a strict Constitutionalist. While I haven't seen anything in her record to indicate she tries to legislate from the bench, my gut feeling is she's not on our side on this.

The lawsuit is full of misinformation and outright lies, and the lawyers statements thus far in the press show they have no problem misleading anyone about the facts. I'm worried that the AG may not have the opportunity to tear down their argument point by point. Much less the temperament to do so.

I don't have a particularly good feeling about this either. The facts are in our favor but this doesn't really seem like a battle of facts. At least not from the other side. But don't count us out yet. Just because they have a lot of organization going for them, it doesn't mean we don't have our strengths. Our message is being heard. It may not be getting a lot of play from the media outlets but it's definitely getting out there. I know I've been trying. I've seen a few others from this board in the comments sections of major news sites. If we lose this one, it won't be from lack of effort. I just don't like how they get to tell their side in the hearing but we don't. I also don't like the odds that our presence there will be deliberately misconstrued as support for the ban. But, aside from calmly educating as many people who are on the fence as possible, there's not really much we can do but wait for Monday.

Hex, you are right, we probably have been 'out organized' but that doesn't surprise me. The type of people that are against true freedom keep themselves in a constant quasi-organized state, just waiting for an issue to take a stance against. I don't know that their organizing is going to do them much good though honestly. Its up to the attorneys and Bonnyman to work it out at this point.

Work it out? As in coming to a consensus, a compromise? Essentially re-writing State law and therefore legislating from the bench? Please tell me that's not what you meant?
