I don't know what an "ass clown" is but I'll assume it is negative from the other derogatory remarks made in the Nashville Scene:

Again - someone imagining a wild scenario supported by bigotry and ignorance aimed at gun owners.

I guess we all are a bunch of hateful, drunk idiots to them. I wonder though if their ignorance is feigned and that they know exactly what the score is when they write articles like this.

Well this put a smile on my face. I was rather bummed after having read that article. I am glad I am not the only one that thought it was insane. As another poster mentioned, there do seem to be a lot of homoerotic references. I'm not against homosexuality, but I think any sexuality needs to be in its right place (or context) and an article about gun laws in a free newspaper that kids could pick up isn't it. Disgusting. At this point I wouldn't even use that paper as a drop cloth next time I change the oil in the lawn mower.

Isn't that the same paper that ran all of them escort ads before they were raided?

I wouldn't bet on it!! They would be pressing charges against you for killing a poor, oppressed, innocent, sweet, kind upstanding individual that just didn't get an opportunity to succeed like you. If I honestly saw a situation where, an obvious or well know anti- was in trouble and needed a "leaded" solution to a problem of dire consequences, I would seriously hesitate...If I can stay safely out of it I will!! Let them see what happens when you bring a peace pipe to a gun fight!!!

But he could have hit the child, maybe. Someone else could have walked in front of the gun or the bullet could have bounced of something and hit a pregnant woman walking her dog outside or who knows what could have happened...he had a LOADED GUN. Someone may have had some beer on one of the motel rooms and everyone knows booze and guns don't mix....This gunslinger should be fired.
