So I get this email today inviting me to attend. They're holding the banquet at Hendersonville High School in August.

Am I the only one that thought, "gee couldn't they find a place a little more gun friendly than a place where having a handgun is strictly prohibited and is a felony?" WTF???

Sometimes you really have to appreciate irony.

Except now we have restaurant carry. Before it really didn't matter, did it?

restaurant? There's no restaurant sufficient for an FONRA event. I imagine they have it there because it is the only place large enough in the area to hold such an event at a reasonable cost.

Hmmm... I would think an American Legion or VFW hall would probably welcome such an event.
