Man, BN, you're not helping...I'm trying to work here (would help if I'd quit watching this thread).

I would be most interested in a TGO delegation making a trip like this!!! How about a September Steelhead Shoot on loaction somewhere near Kenai?

That pic was taken on Prince of Whales Island in South East Alaska. I have a friend there that guides for steelhead, salmon and charters for ocean trips as well. It's about as cheap as your gonna get for an Alaska trip. I really want to go back, but I don't have the fundage.

Hmmm...I do have booked, an Alaska trip October 2010...

10 day cruise, with lots of inland activities that will hopefully include wetting some lines...

Man I would love to do an Alaska trip before I die. Until then I'll stick with the Clinch and Tellico/Citico. Anybody know what an Alaskan week long fishing trip cost on average?

We are thinking about going back to Telico in the next few weeks. Haven't decided if we are going to do it on a weekend and brave the crowd or on a weekday.

I'll be back in Alaska in two weeks :D Unfortunately I'm not certain a dedicated fishing trip is in the works this time. Maybe a bit of fishing for Arctic Char, Northern Pike, and Arctic Grayling.

I haven't been over to Tellico River this year yet. I prefer to go to the Elk or Hiwassee. It is not the trout fishing that I was used to, but I still enjoy it a lot. Still have not hit the Chaney Fork and it has been years since I fished the Clinch.

Been trying to do some kayak fishing this year.
