Can anyone tell me the best way to run a background check on a resident of TN?

I'm mainly interested in their criminal history, and would prefer to do this online and as cheaply as possible. Of course, I would like the most up-to-date and accurate information on this person, so if that would require a few more bucks, I'm game.

I have her Name, Social Security Number, D.O.B., etc.

Since I know this persons SS#, would I need to run 2 seperate checks for her maiden and married names, or would everything related to the SS# show up?

If they where convicted in Tennesse, use www.tennesseeanytime.org , all you need is their name and dob. This is what we use for our company and it is free.

Yea, I looked there, but I'm missing the "free" part. I see the Search Felony Offenders section, and that's free. But I can't seem to find anything else that's free.

I want to search for all criminal convictions, not just felonies.

we use www.adpselect.com at work. not sure if you can run just one on an individual, or if you have to have a business contract, but they are thorough.

also, is this for personal use (date, etc) or something business related. I think that to run a bg on a potential employee or tenant, you have to have a signed waiver.

I have heard decent things about intelus<sp>. IIRC it is $29 for a background check which will show any convictions, any aliases, any civil actions and all know addresses.

I checked out the Meth Offender Registry... is this thin busted or what? I did a search for offenders and Cheatham, and only got 1 result... ONE result in the entire county?!?! In CHEATHAM?!?! Yeah, this thing is busted...
