Ranges in Nashville for training classes...

Before I call every range in the Nashville area, does anyone know of a local range that will allow trainers to come in and host classes? I am specifically looking for a range that will allow for move and shoot training.

I would appreciate your input and guidance.

The best hope for you I think would be Smyrna at the National Guard range. I am not sure what it takes to make an appointment but I do know you can get use of it. When I took my NRA instructor course (a couple years ago) we used that range.

You could start with a visit to the base or maybe a phone call.

To be honest, the Smyrna range is your best bet.

None of the other ranges in the area are going to be too open to dynamic shooting. The primary reason being the assumed liability associated with shooting on the move, especially given there's no assurance that the students have done such shooting before. There are a couple places around, Tactical Response in Camden and Rattlesnake Ridge in Clarksville, who might be willing to work with you, however.

I appreciate you coming in to comment on this. I will give Smyrna a shot at the beginning of next week. If it's a no-go, it will be time to start looking at land to build my own.
