Well there was the:

1.) Bersa T380: liked it. made it 3 years before I determined it was in fact the unreliable POS I thought it was before I bought it. (slide stop broke and some FTE's last week)

2.) Taurus 66: Too big, recoil.

3.) Ruger SP101: Couldn't pull trigger back enough to fire.

4.) Springfield XD-9: recoil

5.) Glock 19: recoil (now mine:D:D:D)

6.) S&W 386 Night Guard in 357Mag. (trigger is a little heavy for her but she says she'll adapt) Army Veteran HOOOAH!!!

If she didn't like the 9mm recoil, she won't like the .357 magnum recoil either. Are you sure you haven't just found a way to build up your gun collection? :P

Shhhhh. (don't give it away mousegunner, I employ the same strategy.)

Army vet and 9mm in the XD and 19 are too much? Then just about any gun short of .380 or a .22 are going to be tough.

She shot about 60 rounds of .357 and .38spl and 30 rounds of 9mm after we bought it today. After I coached her on not trying to wrestle the guns trying to compensate for recoil, she said in wasn't that bad and she could manage.

So she liked (or tolerated) .357 out of a snubbie? Sounds kinda contrary to what you've gotten her into before.
